FOOD PRESERVATION AND PRODUCTION

Kelly Lockamy and an assortment of guest speakers will offer tips and advice on everything from home-brewing to mushroom innoculation to proper canning and preservation! 

12:15pm - 1:00pm

GREEN CLEANING

Dr. Aaron Peck of Green Clean will help you understand WHY you should make your own cleaners as well as HOW!  He will offer demos and proof that keeping a sparkling clean house can go hand-in-hand with being an environmental steward.

1:15pm - 2:00pm

KITCHEN COMPOSTING WITH RED WORMS!

Back by popular demand, the World Famous Worm Wrangler Saja Aures will lead another exotic worm-composting workshop!

Everyday, you toss the makings of "black gold" right into your trash.  Your kitchen scraps, with the assistance of composting worms, can be easily transformed into nutrient-rich compost and liquid fertilizer. We will be giving away 1 lb of composting worms and DIY worm composting bin to one lucky workshop attendee!
